• Photos & Videos: Media uploaded to showcase the idol, decorations, and celebrations. These are stored securely in our cloud object storage bucket.
• Submitter Contact Information: Your name and mobile number or email address. This information is strictly confidential, used only by our local verification team to confirm mandapam details or clarify landmarks, and is never displayed publicly on the site.
• Geolocation Data: If you use the “Use my location” feature, your browser temporarily provides GPS coordinates solely to populate the latitude and longitude fields for accurate map pinning.

2. How We Use Your Information

The collected information is used exclusively to:

• Display verified mandapam listings, photos, and directions on the interactive Jagtial map.
• Allow devotees and visitors to discover unique idols, festival celebrations, and cultural events.
• Verify the physical presence and safety of mandapam sites before publishing.
• Prevent duplicate entries, spam, or inaccurate geographic pins.

3. Media & Content Ownership

By uploading photographs and videos of Ganesh mandapams, you affirm that you have the right to share them for community viewing. Photos of religious idols, public decorations, and processions are made freely viewable to the public to celebrate local craftsmanship and tradition.

If a photo or video uploaded by a community member includes private property or individuals who request its removal, please notify us, and we will promptly remove the content.

4. Third-Party Services & Map Providers

To provide interactive navigation, our map feature uses map tiles and directions links to external providers such as Google Maps. When opening Google Maps directions, their standard privacy policies and terms of service govern your interaction with their respective platform.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain verified listings across festival seasons to preserve Jagtial’s cultural archive. If you are a mandapam organiser and wish to update, modify, or permanently remove your listing, photos, or contact records, you may contact us at any time.
